We look forward to welcoming schools back to Aberdeen Science Centre from 10th May 2021.
In line with current Scottish Government guidelines, schools can now make bookings to visit the centre.
The team are continuing to offer online support and inspiration through the ASC in your Classroom programme – are you looking for ideas to teach in your classroom or want to reinforce a topic you already taught? Or just planning a fun and educational trip for your class? Then look no further!
We have a wide variety of Educational shows and workshops, which have been thoughtfully developed to complement and support the Curriculum for Excellence (CfE). Each session is designed not only to inspire young people in STEM, but also to spark a sense of curiosity and exploration.

Staff very helpful and showed an enthusiasm when talking to the children – good amount of staff walking around engaging in the activities with the children and answering their questions. Children seemed to enjoy themselves too.

VISIT TO THE CENTRE
Entry to the Science Centre includes a 30-45 min science demonstration and time to explore our two floors of brand new exhibits.
On arrival, you will be provided with a timetable, which is a complete guide to your booked activities. We have a packed lunch area which can be reserved for the day (subject to availability). Please let us know if any of your pupils have access requirement or learning needs and we will be able to accommodate this during your visit.
